country. The legend says that this is the very place where
Lord Brahma performed a yagya with all the gods and goddesses.Jain Temple, Ranakpur
One of the most famous religious places in Rajasthan is
the Ranakpur Jain temple. Built in the 15th century, the Jain
temple complex has a basement covering an area of 48,000 sq
ft. The most notable fact of the Jain temple is that it houses
1444 columns and no two are alike in carvings and design.Dargah Sharif, Ajmer
Ajmer Sharif, an important pilgrimage destination in
Rajasthan for the Muslims, is a dargah of the Sufi saint
Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti. Many pilgrims come to the dargah
during the Urs festival.Dilwara Temple, Mount Abu
Located near Mount Abu, Dilwara Temple was built in the
11th-13th century. This temple complex is an important pilgrim
center for the Jains. The Dilwara Jain temple complex houses
the Vimal Vasahi Temple, Luna Vasahi Temple, Pithalhar Temple,
Khartar Vasahi Temple and Mahaveer Swami Temple.
